Do This to Be Successful All the Time
Successful people have a trick that they use all the time to keep them on track to achieve their goals. They adopt the identity of a successful person in their field and as much as possible, they do not deviate from it. They think and act as a person is that position would act until they actually become that person.
This is not the same as “fake it ‘til you make it,” which suggests that we should pretend to do the actions of successful people until we are actually doing them. The idea is to actually do the steps, whatever they are, even if they are more basic not as sophisticated as they should be. Eventually by actually doing the work, the results will come as they build upon themselves.
To keep themselves on track all the time, they use another hack to really drive it home. They imagine that a film crew is with them all the time, filming everything they do, so they HAVE to do everything that they can to stay on track and be congruent with the identity they want to eventually be permanent.
So, to be successful in something, establish how a successful person in that field would act, and do it all the time, regardless of whether someone is watching you or not. That way, the identity gets locked in and eventually success in that field will occur.
