This Will Happen When You Improve Yourself

Often, with the best of intentions, people attempt to “help” others with challenges that they are facing.  The issue is often that the person does not want help or even realise that the other person wants them to make any changes.

This most commonly occurs when parents want their children to do something that is better for them, but the children do not want to do it.

However, an amazing phenomenon that often happens in these situations, is that a parent will do the thing that they want their children to do, and that will cause them to follow and do the thing as well.  For example, if a parent wants their child to go outside rather than stay inside and play video games, often the act of the parent going outside and doing something interesting, like playing a game or doing a new hobby is enough for the child to join them.

If you begin to improve yourself, rather than try to improve others, very often the people around you will notice and begin to improve themselves by extension.

This can occur in many situations.  The act of eating healthier and exercising will often prompt others to do the same when they see the positive results someone is getting.  Any self-improvement often leads people who see the results to try it for themselves.

The other result is often that the person that improves their situation begins to associate with people who have also improved themselves so everyone becomes more successful.

So, whether it is people in our circle improving themselves in response to our doing so, or our circle expanding to include more successful people, the act of improvement often leads to incredible results for others as well as ourselves.
